Digital radiography systems (DR – Direct Radiography) also referred to as X-ray inspection cabinets, are modern solutions used in non-destructive testing (NDT) for quality control and internal structure analysis of materials. Compared to traditional analog radiography, DR X-ray cabinets offer significantly higher efficiency, precision, and operator comfort, as well as immediate access to high-quality digital images. These are enclosed X-ray systems designed for safe and repeatable inspection of industrial components.

The purpose of DR systems is to register X-ray radiation passing through the inspected object and to generate detailed 2D images that enable the identification of material discontinuities, welding defects, cracks, porosity, corrosion, and structural inhomogeneities. Depending on the configuration, X-ray cabinets can also be expanded with computed tomography (CT) functionality, allowing for three-dimensional analysis of the inspected object.

The X-ray cabinets and digital radiography systems offered by CASP System are individually designed and configured based on customer requirements, the scope of inspection, and the specific industrial application, ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards and the highest image quality.

Below are examples of digital radiography systems offering 2D inspection, with the option to extend functionality to computed tomography (CT).
