Squirter Systems

Jet-based ultrasonic testing (UT) inspection systems are specialized solutions used for precise quality control of components in a water-based environment without the need for full immersion of the part. In these systems, water or another coupling fluid is delivered through precisely controlled nozzles directly onto the surface of the inspected object, creating a stable medium for ultrasonic wave propagation. This approach allows for fast, repeatable, and non-invasive inspection of even large or complex-shaped components, where full immersion would be difficult or impractical.

Jet-based UT systems can operate using both conventional ultrasonic techniques and advanced methods such as Phased Array and FMC/TFM, enabling high-resolution, multi-channel inspection. Equipped with manipulators, robots, or positioning tables, they allow automatic scanning of objects, while advanced software provides result visualization, defect mapping, thickness measurements, report generation, and integration with production management systems. Thanks to precise control of the coupling medium flow and stable operating conditions, jet-based UT systems are an efficient and flexible tool for industrial non-destructive testing.

These systems are dedicated for testing of large elements with complicated shapes that are utilized for example in construction of airplanes. The setup of nozzles located on the ultrasonic heads ensures the hydrodynamic coupling during testing.
