Rotors
Eddy current (ET) rotors are specialized devices that enable automatic and repeatable scanning of rotating or cylindrical components, such as pipes, rods, shafts, or wires. Their main purpose is to ensure stable and uniform contact between ET probes and the surface of the inspected component, allowing precise detection of surface and near-surface discontinuities, such as cracks, inclusions, corrosion, scratches, or wall thickness reduction. Rotors enable inspection of the entire circumference or surface of rolled components while maintaining a constant speed and measurement angle, significantly increasing the repeatability and accuracy of test results.
